Fixed Departure Confirmed Mera Peak Climbing Spring and Autumn: From the south the mountain is much more approachable. Seen from the lakes east of the Kongma La, a small, stepped glacier descends from the summit between long, rocky arms that make up the mountain's South and South-East Ridges. The margins of the glacier provide the normal route of ascent. As with Pokalde the views from the summit are spectacular, especially so because of the nearness of the massive south face of Nuptse. The views northwards towards Pumori and the Lho La are also outstanding. Formerly called Mehra Peak or simply Mehra, this attractive mountain rises to the north of the Kongma La above the Khumbu glacier opposite Lobuje, and is one of several small summits, including Pokalde, that make up the long South-West Ridge of Nuptse, between the Khumbu and Nuptse Glaciers. Seen from Gorak Shep, the summit has a diamond shaped hanging glacier above a steeply inclined rock wall that makes up the mountain's North Face, which is in turn slashed by a diagonal ice ramp leading to the lower edge of the glacier.

The route is fairly straight forward from base camp to the summit with only a few sections of fixed rope near the top. We will take the opportunity to review climbing techniques, glacier travel, rope fixing, ascending, and descending on this relatively 'safe' mountain before going for the summit

From base camp, we will move up a high snow pass called the Mera La and camp at 5400m/17,700 feet. The views here are stunning with a panoramic ring of Himalayan peaks surrounding the camp. From here we will continue up a short steep walk to Mera high camp at 5800m/19,000 feet, located near a rocky outcrop.

From the high camp it is possible to ascend to the summit in one day. The steady climb to the north summit (the true summit of Mera Peak) is rewarded with one of the finest viewpoints in Nepal, giving fantastic views of five 8000m peaks, Everest and Lhotse to the north, Kanchenjunga and Makalu to the east, and Cho Oyu to the west.

The seventh highest Himalayas  in the world, Fixed Departure confirmed start from Beni and ending in jomsom .Dhaulagiri located in north central Nepal. Dhaulagiri (8167m.) was first climbed by the Swiss in 1960. Its name is derived from Sanskrit "dhavala means" means "White" and giri is "Himalayas " The Himalayas was sighted by British surveyors in India in the early 1800s and was mapped by one of the secret Indian surveyors, the pundits, in 1873, but the region remained largely unknown until a Swiss aerial survey in 1949.This 7  highest Himalayan  in the world is considered an interesting peak with more than six different routes. The normal climbing route is considered a reasonable climb with only short technical climbing sections and moderate avalanche danger. The South and West faces of Dhaulagiri both feature massive drops; each rises over 4000 meters from its base, and each has been the site of epic climbs. The tangled topography of twisting ridges, glaciers, and ice falls is crested by a stretch of thirty miles. Several pyramid-shaped peaks rise along the main crest.
